This Privacy Policy describes the practices of LITADVISORS S.C. (“LIT Advisors”, “us”, or “we”) with respect to the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information through our website, www.litadvisors.mx (the “Site”). “Personal Information” means personally identifiable information about you or information that would allow someone to identify or contact you.

By using the Site, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy and agree to be bound by our Terms of Use and Privacy Notice. LIT Advisors reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy in our sole discretion, at any time to reflect changes in our practices with respect to the processing of personal information, or changes in accordance with the applicable regulations. No Legal Relationship
Please be advised that browsing the Site or using its services or functionality does not make you a client of LIT Advisors. The Site is provided for general informational purposes and convenience. You agree that your access and use of the Site, including the submission of information to us through the Site, does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and LIT Advisors.
Applicability of this Privacy Policy
As indicated above, this Privacy Policy applies to Personal Information collected through our Site in accordance with the Federal Law for the Protection of Personal Information held by Private Parties and its Regulations (the "Law"). This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party services, websites, or applications that we may link to through the Site. When you use one of these links to leave our Site, we encourage you to review the privacy policies that apply to the services, websites, or applications you choose to access.
What information We Obtain
LIT Advisors collects the following categories of information (or collectively Personal Data) from you through the Site:

Personal Information. You may use and access the Site without providing us with any Personal Information. However, we may invite you to voluntarily submit certain Personal Information, such as your name, physical address, email address, and phone number. Certain forms on the Site may also ask you to submit optional information about your company that we may link to other Personal Information we collect from you, such as company name, entity type and size, number of fundraising rounds completed, and answers to qualitative questions about your company. We will only use this Personal Information (i) for the purposes explicitly described to you at the time you provided us with the information; (ii) to respond to your inquiries; (iii) to evaluate a prospective attorney-client relationship with you and what legal services we may be able to provide you; (iv) to send you newsletters, publications, and other communications that may be of interest to you; (v) for internal business analytics, such as understanding the demographics of visitors to our Site; and (vi) to create Aggregate Information (defined below) that, after being aggregated and anonymized, can no longer be used to identify you.

Use of Information. We may also automatically collect certain information regarding your access to and use of the Site (“Use of Information”). We collect such information through the device you use to access and use the Site. We also collect the Use of Information by the use of cookies, web beacons, and other tracking technology (collectively, “Tracking Technologies”). Use of Information includes, but is not limited to, your device type, operating system, browser type, IP address, information the websites or application from which you navigated to our Site, the information you input into our Site (such as search terms in the search bar), pages you access on our Site, how long you spend on a particular page on our Site, any links you click on, and similar information. We use Use of Information (i) to improve and customize the Site for users like you; (ii) to examine the effectiveness and response of visitors to information and content we put on our Site; (iii) for business analytics purposes, such as determining usage patterns on certain pages or features on our Site; (iv) for security and maintenance purposes; (v) from Tracking Technologies as described below; (vi) to create Aggregate Information (defined below); and (vi) other uses consistent with applicable law.

Sensitive Personal Information. We do not proactively obtain data considered as sensitive by the Law, such as religion, health situation, sexual preferences, political opinion, and similar data. We ask that you do not send information of this nature to us. In case you voluntarily provide us with this information and we receive it or register it in our systems, we will only use it to the extent that such information might be essential to provide you with the service you requested from us.

Aggregate Information. We may use the information we collect to create “Aggregate Information”, which is aggregated and anonymized information that cannot be used to identify any natural person, in order to develop statistics and analytics about our Site. Though Aggregate Information may be derived from Personal Information, it is not Personal Information because it cannot be used to identify you or any natural person.
How we obtain your Personal Data
We might obtain your personal information through different means:

Directly from you, (i) when you visit our Site: (ii) when you contact us or provide us with your data personally, and (iii) in the course of our relationship with you;

Through mass media, when you provide us, for example, with your data via telephone, through electronic means, such as e-mail or social media, or when your image or voice is recorded on our systems. Likewise, when we obtain information from you in an automatic way, through cookies, web beacons, or other Tracking Technologies, thus being directly or indirectly through third parties. (i) When you interact with any third-party content or advertising on the Site. We may also receive Personal Information about you from third parties; (ii) Data that we might replicate from third parties, this data includes geographic information additional to the contact, thus, in accordance with the applicable Law; and (iii) other public means of access, e.g. when you make a public post on social media.
How We Share Information with Third Parties
We rely on third parties to provide us with certain services at our request and pursuant to our instructions. These third parties include cloud hosting services, web design services, data analytics services, information technology services, customer relationship management services, communications platforms and related analytics services, marketing automation, and other similar technology infrastructure or business operations services, providers. Where such third parties perform services for us, we may share Personal Information, Use of Information, Aggregate Information, or other information collected consistent with this Privacy Policy with such third parties, but only as necessary for such third parties to provide us with the requested services consistent with this Privacy Policy.

Additionally, we may share information we collect with other third parties, but only in the following circumstances: (i) to comply with applicable law or legal process, including litigation or governmental requests; (ii) to enforce this Privacy Policy, our Terms, and any other legal or contractual rights; (iii) to secure and protect the Site, including by detecting technical issues, security threats, or fraud; and (iv) as necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of LIT Advisors, our clients, visitors to our Site, or the public.
Cookies and Tracking
LIT Advisors and its third-party vendors may use Tracking Technologies, such as cookies and web beacons, to collect the Use of Information. Tracking Technologies do not, by themselves, collect Personal Information; however, we may use Tracking Technologies to, for example, identify that the device you are using has accessed certain parts of the Site and may associate that information with Personal Information you have voluntarily provided us.

Information Security
LIT Advisors uses industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards to protect the information we collect through the Site. However, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of our Site or systems, and we, therefore, do not warrant that your safeguards will prevent the loss, theft, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, misuse, or destruction of the information we collect. If you provided us with your email address, you agree that we may communicate with you electronically regarding the privacy and security of information we collect.
Visitors Outside Mexico
LIT Advisors is a law firm incorporated in Mexico City. By providing Personal Information to us, you acknowledge and agree that your Personal Information may be transferred to and stored servers that may be located outside of the country or other governmental jurisdiction in which you reside.
Exercise Your ARCO Rights
In accordance with the Law, you have the rights of Access, Rectification, Cancellation and Opposition to the Treatment (the "ARCO Rights"); likewise, with the right to revoke at any time the consent granted for the processing of their personal data, to the extent that the Law allows it. Your requests will be evaluated in the terms established by the Law. We will communicate, at your request: (i) the information that will be requested to identify you as well as the documents that you will need to send along with your application; (ii) the timeframes in which you will receive an answer about your request; (iii) how you must submit your application, including the forms you can use to submit your application if any, and; (iv) the means in which we will deliver the information to you.

PRIVACY NOTICE
In addition to our Privacy Policy and in compliance with the Mexican Federal Law for the Protection of Personal Information held by Private Parties and its Regulations (the "Law"), we inform our users, clients, and providers that provide personal data such as name, email address, mailing address, phone number, employment, billing, and financial data, among others, by means such as LIT Advisors website, emails, cards, telephone communications, video calls, electronic media, forms, among others, that personal information collected shall be used for various purposes such as contact and identification or complying with the obligations that arise from a legal relationship and rendering legal services. The Personal Information obtained by means of a relationship, which use is necessary to comply with the obligations that arise from such a relationship, shall be used only to provide the legal services required and for issues regarding such provision of services. Personal information will be used, processed, stored, disclosed, and handled solely by LITADVISORS, S.C. ("LIT Advisors"), in accordance with LIT Advisors' Privacy Policy, this Privacy Notice and the Law. Any request regarding the ARCO Rights, to disclose, correct, delete or cease use of personal information in accordance with the Law, shall be directed by email to infor@litadvisors.mx or by mail to us at Av. Presidente Masaryk 191, Polanco V Sección, Miguel Hidalgo, C.P. 11560, Mexico City, Mexico. Likewise, by means of a written request for the protection of Personal Information to the email and address mentioned above, you may revoke your consent and limit the use or disclosure of its personal data. Personal Information collected shall be part of the LIT Advisors database and will remain in effect for as long as the LIT Advisors deems necessary to fulfill the specific purpose for which the data was collected. Personal Information collected may be transferred and used in and out of the country, by a third party outside LIT Advisors. If no objection is made by means of a written request addressed to us, as responsible for the protection of Personal Information at the email or address mentioned above, consent shall be deemed as given. The use of this website constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of this Privacy Notice.
